Surprisingly good find in what is a very small local shopping mall, with no other big pulls. Coffee very good; nice gluten free carrot cake (although overall range of gf foods small - unsurprising, given its location and likely clientele). Clean, friendly, modern, good parking close by. Good place for a cuppa if you want to wander around a nice little village.

Food was nice, well presented & nice strong coffee. Unfortunately the coffee made with soya milk was curdled & undrinkable, then tried oatmilk same problem. Although it wasn't very busy it took some time to get servers attention & one of the ladies came across a little irritated.

Maria and the staff are professional, warm and welcoming. The food is delicious and the homemade feel makes the difference. The atmosphere is always topical and reflective w to seasons and celebrations. Lovely decorations and lots of humour and wit on the wall sign and posts. Even greater in summer time when there is a choice to bathe oneself in the sun. Overall simply amazing!

Good tasty food, limited menu for food but done well. Plenty of cakes homemade they say. Enjoyed my visit and would go again.

The Vineyards is one of the local shopping areas with traditional independent businesses - and free car parking! The Glasshouse Cafe is our favourite place, with indoor/outdoor seating and always a friendly service. Our group have been having our weekly get-togethers and breakfast at the Glasshouse for nearly ten years. Maria prepares the best selection of fresh food - and the service is excellent. We love Maria's cooking and there is always a range of freshly baked cakes and cookies available. Recommended.

The Glasshouse is my favourite little gem in Great Baddow. Maria and the girls always give you a very warm welcome, especially Martine 😊 she always remembers just how I like my extra hot latte 😋 Always a nice varied menu plus daily specials, cooked to order, presented well and always piping hot. Just when you think you couldn't eat no more, you will be tempted by the various assortment of homemade cakes, muffins, and shortbread as well. If you drop into the Vineyards shops do pop in, you won't be disappointed 😊
Parking: Plenty of free parking either side of the shopping centre

I popped into the Glasshouse for lunch today with my friend. We had the chicken pesto baguette which was just scrummy and we shared a large pot of tea. The waitress Fran is an absolute darling and she's also super efficient 😘 I also took home a large slice of lemon drizzle cake which I'll be scoffing later on with a cuppa tea.
Totally recommend this charming little place 💛🌻💛

This is one of my favourite coffee shops why? Because everything is homemade and always tastes lovely. The staff are always polite and helpful.
This morning I popped in for takeaway cake and latte for mum and I, yummy.
Keep up the good work ladies. 😊
